Answer»

I just purchased a new computer which is a dell. I had another dell before this for 4 years and then it got a blue screen out of NOWHERE and stopped working. Im guessin it was a virus. My old computer has a 200 gig hardrive which has alot of files on it I would like to get off it. If I put that HARD drive into my new computer, what would happen? Would I ruin my new comp or is there a way to get some of the files off I need without harming i?Slave Drive Tutorial

Read thru completely before starting...and remember to scan all files before OPENING them...There's a chance that it comes with a SATA interface it which case you only need to hook it up without changing jumpers. More important, if the files on the old drive are infected and you copy them to the new drive, you will infect the new system.Quote
