Answer» Uhm. I was wondering if someone COULD help me. I have Cable internet and It recently quit working, LIKE..The modem and stuff is fine, The light for "ready" is set, But it doesnt work. So something is wrong with my computer. Now, My 56K modem works, I keep it around just incase something like this happens, I -live- for the internet, Could someone please TELL me how to fix this?Here's what to do... Turn off the computer... Unplug the modem for 15-30 SECONDS... After this time has passed, restore power to your modem, and to the computer... You should not be fine... (I know you don't THINK its the modem, but this might help ) |
