Run Command Window as System Administrator: Click Start , right click Command Prompt and Choose "Run as System Administrator" The above worked because the default command window location for the System Administrator is : C:\Windows\system32\ When the OS searches for sort.exe, it looks at the current folder first. Nevertheless, for future sessions you need to set your system search PATH.
