Answer» Hi, I'd LIKE use Skype in a special WAY: I'm looking for sound card which will work in parallel to the sound chipset on motherboard and have 4P4C socket to connect a regular telephone handset. The reasons are: - I need to get INCOMING calls notifications on PC laudspeakers (to hear them from distance), - I'd like use my favorite remote handset, which is equipped with 4P4C (incorrectly, called RJ22, RJ10, or RJ9) plug. I'll be thankful for any suggestion, Dref From what you say it would seem that you only need an adapter to connect to the headset. No sound card will have that connector, as there is the risk that somebody would plug it into telephone wall jack. That is a violation of the Telephone company rules. It is a safety issue. And you could damage their equipment. Anything that goes to the wall jack must be either a REGISTERED telephone device or a device that uses a registered coupler. Thanks Geek! Sounds reasonable, although standard telephone connection is 6P6C. Anyway adaptrer look to be BETTER solution. Dref
