Sometimes when I am playing lets say Warcraft III FT or Counter Strike Source, the sound sometimes just turns off or something. Because I get no sound at all! But then when I QUIT the game I get my sound back. So I don't know what kind of problem this iS!Make sure your sound, video drivers and direct X  are up to date. Check on the GAMES website for fixes and patches.is this via the net.. these games......or cd/dvd rom disk.........Dvd/CD but the Counter strike is off harddrive so I don't know what could be causing it.As suggested by Fed, have you UPDATED your drivers? Also, have you scanned for viruses and Spyware? How long has this been happening? Since you had the game?

[glb]Flame[/glb]My drivers are all up to date and I scan for spyware FREQUENTLY so I don't think its that. This STARTED happening like a few days ago and I had the game for over a few years. Only recently has this been happening.Have you made any changes to your system recently?

[glb]Flame[/glb]Start>Run>Dxdiag>Sound, check for any problems and try turning the sound acceleration down a notch.
