I am using a computer that was built for me. I loaded my own operating system. Several messages have come up on my computer about other users being logged in. Is it possible that there is SPY hardware or software on my computer an I am being  spyed on?....how can I find out?Who built it for you - 007? Do you have a lot of sensitive information? What operating system? You loaded it all by yourself?

The only way this could be done is a keylogger - hardware or software. Google for it.Thank you for responding. A friend of mine built it and he could be a 007.  He knows a lot about computers. The operating system is Windows XP and it was easy to load...I just followed the instructions.

The last unusal mesage I got was when I was logging off....  something to the effect that"logging off could effect the other users logged on to the computer"...is this unusal?   or is it something to do with XP?Tell you what... Once you open it, save your logfile, and paste it onto a message on this forum (you might need to use more than one reply)  and we will analyze it for you, and possibly have a solution. Let us KNOW when you have this information available for us    And yes, that message IS unusual if you do not have any other usernames.  

[glb]Flame[/glb]Does he run Windows XP Pro by chance and did he set it up for remote access on yours? (You said you did ALL of the INSTALLING yourself?) Do you have file sharing turned on and some of your folders (or entire hard drive?) set on to share?After you delete the drive & re-install XP   you would be advised to install some protection before getting onto the internet.
