hi everyone

the following is the config of the computer i am using It is several years old

since yesterday i get the computer to start windows. It displays the following

THE LAST ATTEMPT TO RE START FROM PRESENT LOCATION FAILED.

ATTEMPT TO RESTART AGAIN?

DELETE RESTART DATA AND PROCEED TO SYSTEM MENU

CONTINUE WITH SYSTEM RESTART


the line in yello is highlighted to select. But the KEYBOARD IS NOT RESPONDING.

Can anyone pleae tell me what to do.

Have you tried it with a PS2 keyboard ? ?I am using a USB connected keyboard. will try connecting a PS2 KEYBOARD. If the KEYboard then responds. Which option should I select? and then what should I do.

Thanks for the help i changed out the keyboard and selected 'continue with system testart and got the computer to start windows. Thanks

Everyone should own a PS2 keyboard...even if it's stored in the CLOSET !
