Hi All, I'm new here. I'm after some help with my first post.
I have a remote site using 3g wireless internet. Every so I often the wireless gets disconnected and prevents the owner of the remote PC from being able gain ACCESS via remote software.
So I have written a batch file (taskkill /im /F watcher.exe) to close the modem software using a sheduled task. Then another scheduled task to restart the software 1 minute later.
This works perfect except for one thing. The modem software comes to the front of the sceen. This would not normally be a problem except its on a remote PC with a touchscreen that truck drivers access. When the SEE the modem software sitting on their touch screen it just CAUSES confusion. Even though by touching anywhere else on the screen it reverts to the proper screen.
So i have been trying write a batch file to restart the software minmised so it doesn't pop to the front of all other software. I've tried lots of different things from different websites but nothing seems to work.
Any help would be great.

Try using start /min Hi

I've already tried
start /min "path"
start"" /min "path" This seems to start the application but it isn't starting minimised
plus a whole other variety of things i've come across online.

Its XP OS.

Any other ideas

maybe something that starts something in the background?/
