Solve : Starting Apache error msg- what other progs are listening on port 80?

Answer»

I've had Apache installed for a year or so now. I guess a recently installed program must have messed things up. When I try to start Apache, I GET an error message that something is already listening on port 80.

I've tried running the netstat command but the window flashes up on the screen for half a second and then closes. I also tried the command
netstat -an |FIND /i "listening" > c:\openports.txt but again, it just flashes up on the screen and closes.

If anyone can help, it would be great appreciated! I would also like to know if having Apache on port 80 is a security risk and if I should change the port. If so, how would i go about this?

Thank you in advance!
Use TCPVIEW From Microsoft http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspxThanks. I went ahead after I first POSTED this and uninstalled SKYPE and that took CARE of it.
