No not System Restore.
A partition that contains the restore FILES for XP for your machine.

We bought it but dont know where the CD is<
anyhow when i find the CD what do i do next?he doesn't need the XP CD at all. I ran DUMPBIN /EXPORTS on my XP version of kernel32.dll and cannot find the function anywhere in the list. Also, you cannot regsvr32 a dll file that isn't COM based. have you tried running it without compatibility mode enabled? My version works fine that way (albiet as a component of C&C the first decade....).Quote from: BC_Programmer on December 12, 2007, 03:43:19 PM

thnx for help thoughdid a google search on the function in question and lo and behold the first hit was actually related to Red Alert. But I'll cut to the chase. EA has information on this issue here:

Not sure if you've already discovered this and found it to not work in your situation, but it might help. Short of of course actually TRYING to get your hands on a copy of "the first decade".Quote from: BC_Programmer on December 13, 2007, 09:29:13 AM
