Answer» I TURN on my computer and I hear it running, but the light on the start button does not come on, and nothing comes up on the screen. How can I fix this? Thank you. Could be anything - memory, hd, video CARD, display, etc. You need to start testing and eliminating POTENTIAL causes one at a time.OK Something unusual was happening. It sounded like the fan was kicking into high gear. My wife thought it was getting hot so when it did that she would shut it down.
