Sup never seen you on here?

and anyways Ive seen signs like this in local stores....

I hope this Economic crysis goes away.I've been here for a long time, just deleted my account and re-created it, won't say why. stupid

BestBuy blows Circuitcity away.

Bestbuy even has better prices than the circuitcity blowout goingoutofbiz sale across the street from them, in my area. Now I remember why I hate Best Buy.

I think that's arrogant and "backhanded" (an insult in disguise).

Best Buy customers = revenue stream.Tweeters went out of business last month. Compusa left the state a few months before Tweeters, and a few others are gone.

OfficeMax or Office Depot.. cant remember the name is also closing stores in our state.

As for Circuit City.. they were kind of late to do lowest price guarantee.

I guess the problem I had with Circuit City is when you walk in, it does not really feel like a major electronic store. If you walk in the place is semi dark and the Televisions seemed to be all in a small part area.. I didn't think they really had to many diversity of choices. their comptuer sections were 1 or 2 sections.

Compare to Bestbuy. - Loud very loud, and their stores are pretty bright, Alot of diversity, but terrible customer service... well not their customer service department... but trying to get help with something.. They just stand around and TALK and not help customers unless you ask them for help. They have alot of things, but honestly I think some things are sort of over priced.. even for their generic products ( Dynex ) I mostly get generic products for my older computers and I must say, $20.00 for a keyboard... I remember buying one from Compusa for $10.00.. It didn't have the fancy audio buttons but I didn't care, don't need them anyways.

Also remember it is important to put those signs up.. PEOPLE of america are SUE happy. If they do not put those signs up.. someone somewhere will sue for improper advertisment or misleading.

If you watch enough television, you notice that ad's you once saw in a week are gone the next, just like that and something else is up.

Thats why people with circuit cities in town do not see ad's with stores saying Lowest prices guarantee anymore! Not really stupid. Circut City has below wholesale prices on many items. There is no way to win price matching below wholesale. The Best Buy fliers say the will price match their competitors. It's CYA.... Quote

Yeah, I noticed that two, and I have poor vision. What their really saying is, "due to the circuit city liquidation, we still require you to liquidate your WALLET."
Honesty is the best policy I sayAt LEAST if your honest, you can't be sued in most cases. Like where doctors put it in a point of fact manner on the paperwork that you may get screwed by having them work on you, but you dismiss them of any such liabilities. Quote

Be carefull  David, you don't look to be in perfect health.Even when they were a GOING concern i found it very rare that something would be cheaper at Circuit City than elsewhere...except 62" Plasma TV's...but how often does one buy one of those ? ?I don't see what's so wrong about this.  Best Buy shouldn't have to suffer because of Circuit City's failure.  As Circuit City approaches its final days, they're going to try desperately to get rid of their products, which will involve major sales.  Most stores around here going out of business are having 80%-off sales.  If Best Buy tries to compete with that, they're just going to put themselves out of business.  Now that would be stupid.

They're not conning people out of money (that's Geek Squad's job) and it would be terribly unfair to expect them to match liquidation prices when they are not liquidating.  Besides, it's their business and how they run it is up to them.  I didn't even know that they ever matched prices to begin with; this is the first time I've ever heard of Best Buy doing such a thing.  Not that it matters much anyway, because mostly everything at Circuit City is terribly overpriced.
