Answer» I have a Core 2 Duo processor, 2 DDR2 667 RAM, GEFORCE 9500GT GDDR2 Graphics Card. My Motherboard Gigabyte 945-GCMX-S2 died. No display , no beep , processor does not generate heat. I don't want to use Gigabyte ANYMORE. Can anyone suggest me an alternative and better motherboard ? You are sure the CPU is OK? Not the power supply? Are you sure? Give details of the exact CPU model. So you can FIND a Mobo that will use it.

EDIT: Just found this from Tom's Hardware Roundup: Six Core 2 Motherboards Under $100 The Asus P5QL would be the best, but they don't like the layout. But read it over and judge for yourself. Thanks a lot for your reply.
Well I changed the PS and the same thing happened again. So I think it is not the Power Supplier.
I don't think it is the CPU because the CPU fan works.
My processor is 1.86 GHZ / 4M L2 Cache / 1066. Must be Core 2 Duo E6320.

You realize the CPU fan would work even if you had no CPU at all? It's ESSENTIALLY a disjoint part. To create a ANALOGY- it would be sort of like saying that you know your fuel mixture is right in your car because your radiator fan is turning .
