|
Answer» Hello guys! Our company is a GIS company What is a GIS company? It would seem that, unless there are budgetary constraints, it's a good opportunity for at least a modest upgrade. Thanks guys for the immediate responses there! Im from the Philippines so I dont know if prices there is the same here. Im thinking of an upgrade since that card has been 4 years since purchased and, also considering new technologies. According to Wiki >> GIS Our company is the branch of PASCO in our country. Thanks! OK, well can you give us a rough budget in pesos? Do you know any Philippines component shops? I don't know of any so I don't know if whatever Google turns up is trustworthy or not.Ive tried Google and there had been many results but Im not sure if it will be compatible to the board we have. We want to buy a videocard that could serve our needs. We want it to be used either in a CAD program or Summit. Here's what I found in google. >> PCExpress Have to go for now but will come back tomorrow. Thank you for your replies! God Bless! then again if you know anyone in the us that you trust they can SEND the vid cards to you, just a thoughtHey guys! Sorry for the super late POST.. Apparently, one of my officemate suggested this to the Boss: Inno3D Geforce 8500 GT Don't know if this would be a great replacement to the card.. Anyways, thanks a lot!! That's not a very good card but will be slightly better than the PX6600TD. If you give us a budget we can probably work out something better for you.Yeah, I think so too.. Budget, I think would be around 7000-8000 pesos... But I think Ill just wait for my Boss' decision.. Hey Calum, thanks! For that price, get a 9600GT 512Mb. Great value, high performance. It may be bottlenecked by your CPU but you can always upgrade that later, if you get this card now it will last a few years in terms of performance. |
