I was going threw some floppy drives when I came acrossed this. It appears that the power cable too the unit seemed too have been cut
Model # EDSMOTO 120, would I be able to connect a female molex too it an run it off the pc's psu?Do you mean the cable between the PSU and the floppy dirve had been cut?

RE: Running from 4pin molex, if the floppy has a typical floppy drive CONNECTOR then you should be able to use an adapter like this (See attached picture)

[recovering disk space - old attachment deleted by admin]Its a seperate drive with an enclosure but, it seemed too run off the wall power at one point. I wanted too know if I couldnt splice something like that in too the ends an run it like it should. There is also another parelle connector on it with what appears too be a power input but, I dont know anything about this unit.Another SQUALL junk box thread. He has an external exclosure that RUNS off the wall AC power.
The cable is cut.
He wants to hook the external enclosure to the computer's PSU, instead of the AC plug.
