Solve : Superbowl Commercials?

Answer»

...........They suck this year. Even the eTrade baby didn't impress me much.

It was refreshing to see a Google commercial though. I missed it...who won? Quote from: Helpmeh on February 07, 2010, 07:58:59 PM

It's not important who wins or LOSES, it's important how much commercialism you can fit into half-time.Actually, half time was pretty good this year.  But the commercials were nothing special.  At 3 million $ for 30 seconds nobody spent anything extra on producing special commercials.Budweiser tried too hard.. There is a difference in being funny and trying to be funny. Did they show that Tim Tebo commercial? Was it shocking? They did before the game. It aired all day today.

Far from shocking.Saints won and I'd agree commercials SUCKED once again, actually enjoyed the game more than the commercials. Also it was refreshing and at the same time a little scary to see Google advertising. Why exactly are they needing to advertise when they're dominating the search market so much, unless of course Bing is biting into more of the search market then they're letting on.I think they are taking a SUBTLE approach to a full on ad campaign for their other ventures. Operating System, phone etc...I believe I'm the only one on earth who doesn't watch football... That realization is more shocking than I had thought it would be.  Quote from: Dead Reckon on February 09, 2010, 03:36:38 PM

I don't. That's why I asked who won. Quote from: Helpmeh on February 09, 2010, 03:49:07 PM

Ah-HA! I'm not alone!  Only game I watch is the Superbowl and that's usually only because everyone in the family wants to get together for it. I just don't see the thrill in a bunch of steroid jockeys chasing around a ball on some fake grass. I'd rather see dodge ball become a national sport  . That, would be a laugh every single time.

Dodgeball, paintball, laser tag, I'd take anything more interesting than the same sports played SINCE before my father was even born.

Ahh laser tag...now THAT should REPLACE the superbowl.
