However, you can buy an adapter that the attaches to the keyboard that essentially turns it into a Bluetooth keyboard or you could use a Bluetooth keyboard.strollin, you answered the question. That fact that a Bluetooth adapter has to be added means it does not have one. Some say the surface Surface Pro 3 keyboard is near worthless. Just now this come up on the radar. 5 Reasons Surface Pro 3 Shouldn’t Replace Your Laptop Quote My issues with the Surface Pro’s keyboard are that it’s loud (annoyingly so), too bouncy and not very comfortable. That’s partly because Microsoft crams full-size keys into a space that’s considerably smaller than an ultraportable laptop. For instance, the AIR’s layout is 10.75 inches across, COMPARED to 10.25 for the Surface Pro 3. The result is a serviceable but more cramped typing experience. To be fair, though, there’s only so much stability and comfort you can provide in a cover with so little weight.Quote from: Geek-9pm on December 10, 2014, 05:10:28 AM strollin, you answered the question. That fact that a Bluetooth adapter has to be added means it does not have one.I don't understand the bolded statement above. What are you saying the Surface doesn't have? I wouldn't CONSIDER the keyboard to be near worthless, it's very handy and works great, IMO. I know lots of PEOPLE complain that you can't use it in your lap but in the 20 years I've owned and used laptops, I've yet to use one in my lap. I always use my laptops while sitting at a table or desk. If I want to use my Surface when there is no table or desk nearby, then I use it in TABLET mode.If the keyboard had Bluetooth, there would be no market of Bluetooth adapters for that keyboard. Some persons might want a unit that comes with remote keyboard. Such could be useful in live presentations in front of a small audience. |
