Solve : Surround Sound Problems?

Answer» OKAY I bought a Gamecom 777 HEADSET that comes with dolby 5.1 surround SOUND. The problem is when I tested each speaker in it individually the front 2 speakers failed to work. Now I had had a similar problem before but instead it was the right and the back right speakers that failed to work. I have a realtek HD onboard audio card. I tried using both the plugins in the back and the dolby usb plug that came with it. Last thing is please don't tell me "Just go buy a better card" because my card is supposed to support 5.1 but I am having issues with it. Tnx in advance. Are you sure the realtek drivers are properly installed? Not sure of this, but you might uninstall and reinstall the sound drivers, or see about updated drivers.I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the current driver and tried to do the same with the most up to date(was updated yesterday) so idk why it isnt working. I've had the same issue with every Realtek chipset I've come across (two in desktops, two in laptops). Never been able to find a solution to the problem despite lots of hunting around. I know you don't want to hear this, but in truth Realtek chipsets are rubbish. The audio quality is sub-standard and I've never seen them process surround properly. If you want good surround and vastly superior sound quality, get a Creative Audigy or X-Fi card. Even the lowest, cheapest model outperforms a Realtek audio chipset.I mean I guess I could buy a new one but I just spent 110$ at bestbuy for this headset and the warranty on it. I really dont want to spend 50$ on a audio card if I dont have to. I mean I can but I honestly need to save my money I got a week left till I find out if I get any financial aid for college.

EDIT:This is my motherboard if you were wandering. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813123018

And this is the audio card I would most LIKELY buy if I had to http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8014935&type=product&id=1156203598230

Do you know if there are compatible or not? Also there is nothing left for me to try before this?
