I am running a HP pavilion Entertainment PC with Windows 7. I am trying to set up my 5.1 surround sound speakers to it. I purchased an external sound card (Live! USB Sound Blaster) and set up all my speakers. When I configured the speakers in "playback DEVICES" all the speakers worked perfectly fine (I heard all the sounds from each speaker); however, when I try to play music it only plays from the Front L and R speakers. What am I doing wrong?If you go to playback devices>speakers>properties>enhancements tab do you have an option for "speaker fill" ?I just SELECTED speaker fill and it didn't helpanymore ideas? I spend hours setting up my speakers...and it SUCKS knowing they work, but there must be some stupid SWITCH to flip What SB card is this ? ?ya know, I had my friends in my room to show them how it works but doesn't work, and what do you know. It works! of course things magically fix themselves when there is an audience.
