Solve : Texteditor problem? Two browsers, diff. resu?

Answer»

so, uh, how do I get my html in my MAC text editor to show up correctly in the Internet Explorer Browser??

EVERYTHING looks fine in my Safari browser.

NOTE:  in text editor, i had to "make plain text" under the Format tab, and check "ignore rich text commands in html" in order for my html to show up correctly in Safari.

anyone got experience with getting html to show up correctly in both?  Do I need a better text editor? If you can upload the HTML somewhere, I'll tell you why it's not working.

Fine - if you SAVE that as plain text with a file name ending in '.html' (or '.htm', if you must) that should display okay in IE.  There's nothing wrong with the code, but I suspect there might be something wrong with the way you're saving it.  A word processor for example is not the right tool for this job.  >NVu< would be the best thing for you, I suspect.  There's a Mac version.
