i have a BenQ tft (Q7c3)
It initially comes on then, between 20m-60mins it goes off
then when trying to turbn back on it gives a very quick flash
of my desftop but turns it self off again.
When left for 30-mins everything is fine and will come back on,
my questions to you are,

1 what is the problem
2 is it costly to get fixed
3 where can i get it fixed

simshi When it turns itself off or after it does that flash, look really closely and under GOOD lighting, and see if there is an image on the screen still. Also tell me if you can see things moving around (try dragging a window or moving your mouse). If you can see anything happening, it MAY be the inverter board. You can usually buy these on the internet. Then you WOULD have to install it yourself.

just tried to do it but the thing will not come back on right now it is doing the flash again but after that there is no image atall

simshicould be a problem with your video card. do you have the latest drivers installed?
the drivers are fine they are upto date , when i PUT other monitors in they are fine but thanks for the input

just tried to turn it back on and am now getting an faded band accross the middle where the logo goes which to me would indicate that the inverter is on its WAY out, can anybody confirm this
