Answer» http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101016/ap_on_re_us/us_gps_tracking_warrants Might want to check the belly of your car, from the looks of it that thing isn't easy to conceal. It's ridiculous that the GOVERNMENT thinks that we're at the bottom, when in reality the people have power over the government of the United States of America. The government makes people think it's the other way around from birth, however. Wish people would wake up and realize this and stop filing frivolous lawsuits, it's within our power to mandate that these things be made illegal.I will not even try to respond to your assertions. But thank you for the link. If was very interesting. FYI. You can change your oil without the need to craw under the car or jack it up.Quote from: Geek-9pm on October 17, 2010, 06:37:09 PM FYI. You can change your oil without the need to craw under the car or jack it up. How do you remove the oil filter from the top? Seriously. I'd love to know how to do that. +10 internets to you if you can tell us how.And how do remove the drain plug....which is on the bottom of the oil pan ? ?I'm glad they did it. Did you thoughtfully read the whole article? "Afifi was targeted because of his extensive ties to the Middle East, which include supporting two brothers who live in Egypt and making frequent overseas trips. His father was a well-known Islamic-American COMMUNITY leader who died last year in Egypt." If any government wants to track you, it can. If it wants to make it legal, it will.Well put...It's racial profiling, but that's just one reason why I'm against it. I think some people need to learn there rights as US citizens. It's We The People, not They The Government. If a person chooses to enter and leave the country, that's there right. The War on Terror is a FARCE, it was the west pissing off the east for something that was either done by our own government or people acting of there own accord and not of the interest of the nation we are now at war with. It was meant to do several things, first being invoke a hate in the middle east of western society more than there already was, that's done, so now comes the fear, with fear comes control. That's done too, the fear came in with 9/11 and shortly thereafter, the patriot act, which in and of its self is a violation of any US citizen's constitutional rights. So grows the power of the government, the government which is meant to have no power over us. The government has invoked, and, had to revoke things which they do not have the power to do time and time again because those things are simply unconstitutional, and flatout illegal. I have about as much faith in our government to correct things without someone else stepping in as I would have faith in a hand grenade not going off if thrown. This isn't the EU, you can't just track someone without legal cause, that's a violation of a persons privacy. The constitution was written in a time when such technology was completely unfathomable, THEREFOR, it needs to be REVISED to make such use of such technology restricted, severely restricted. To make myself clear, I am against an overpowered government, I'm all for limited government. People view the US government as the boss over the citizens, as they would view a superior in a work environment. This could not be farther from the way it was intended to be, the government in the United States of America was meant to be controlled by the people to prevent tyrannical leadership such as a monarchy from forming. This is the way the United States was shaped to be, and still can be. The US government has no right to meddle in personal matters, it has no right to decide the fate of most large corporations, it has no right to say what you can and cannot do without the vote of the people. Congress has way more power than originally intended, as does the president himself. The job of the president is not to do what HE feels is right, it's to do what the PEOPLE feel is right, as is the job of congress and every other branch formed by the founding fathers. To put it bluntly, too many people are crying over the problems, but nobody who can do anything does. I'm locking this thread. Partly because we don't permit politically oriented posts, and partly because you're an ... well, let's say it's because of the political orientation. |
