Answer»

Hi all...
I have a problem with a computer. The screen says: "OVERWRITE" and the computer does not turn on. is it the harddrive that is causing this? how can i fix it?We're going to need a lot more info than that. As GX1_Man always says...

Please post as much information about your computer, OPERATING system, and problem as possible, what happened prior to problems, etc. Too much info is OK, too little is pointless! Don't just SAY "My computer doesn't work. What's wrong?" We shouldn't have to drag the details out of you. It is YOUR problem, not ours.
my computer is a DELL optiplex desktop (pentium 4, 512 RAM, 60gb HD) and it has windows xp pro. It is one year old. when i turn it on it says "overwrite" but windows does not start. it didnt have any problems before and i really dont know why this happened.
