x = 3 , y = 3/2

Solution :

Here ,

The given equations are ;

x - 2Y = 0 --------(1)

9x + 2y = 30 -----------(2)

Now ,

ADDING eq-(1) and (2) , we GET ;

=> x - 2y + 9x + 2y = 0 + 30

=> 10x = 30

=> x = 30/10

=> x = 3

Now ,

PUTTING x = 3 in eq-(1) , we get ;

=> x - 2y = 0

=> 3 - 2y = 0

=> 3 = 2y

=> 2y = 3

=> y = 3/2

Hence ,

x = 3 , y = 3/2
