Solve : There is a red vertical line on my laptop. How do I fix it?? |
|
Answer» I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop computer. In the last week or so it has started to have a thin red vertical line on the right side of the screen. It comes and goes, but lately is there more than not. I can move the screen up and down and it will go away sometimes, but then other times that doesn't help. I have an old Windows 98 laptop that does that here. On mine, the screen is loose, it flops a bit. I'm guessing with mine, that the ribbon from the screen to the motherboard is damaged. Sure sounds that way. This makes me think so... Quote from: crdclt I can move the screen up and down and it will go away sometimes Quote I'd say you have a similar problem. I'm not sure if the ribbons can be replaced though.
