Solve : This USB device can run faster? |
|
Answer» I'm getting the error warning 'This Device can run faster' when I plug in a USB device. This is on my other PC (WinFast 761GXK8MB Vista Prem 64bit). It states on the MB manual that it is USB 2.0, however according to SIW (Topala) USB 1.1 SUPPORTED, USB 2.0 not supported. I have read elsewhere on this forum that it may REQ. chipset drivers. These I cannot find on Foxconn's site, only a d/load for USB drivers for up to WIN 2000 ( which has no effect) I cannot use the driver disc which came with the MB as there are no vista drivers on it (from a previous post by me) as it states 'This disc is not for this motherboard' Everything else works well otherwise. Perhaps someone can help with this? Regards to all. AlexmaFront ports...probably USB 1.1... I think they are SIS?Does Device Manager identify the USB name for the Host Controller? Then go directly to the chipset manufacturer for the driver. You need Vista Prem 64bit If SiS: http://www.sis.com/support/support_prodid.htm Quote from: Quantos on November 02, 2009, 05:13:19 PM What exactly is the device that you are having troubles with?A Sony 2GB Pendrive, or any pendrive for that MATTER.
