Solve : Timed out?

Answer»

i kid people often with the same "bad joke" about "....not realizing that i am Nostradamus "

As it pertains to this last post i had a feeling that my note would time out and for whatever reason the note is not retained so when one reinserts their name and password the note as it was typed goes to the right place and person.
In order for that to happen here one needs to take other measures. Since it has happene to me a number of TIMES i can tell you fairly confidently what to do to make sure that you do not lose your post, thought, place in line So without further ado i will tell you what to do: copy at minimum before you hit the post button and take it one step further by pasting it in a word, word pad ( my most frequently used WP program ), give it a name and be sure to hit "save" just in case. Then even if you get a blue screen it will be saved so you can repost it if the motivation is still there are cleaning up after MS does it's little tantrum.

So that is what i did. i will post it here and take the risk of having SOMEONE telling me to only post in one place. If that comes up i am SORRY and if you have the power to delete or redirect it to the rith place thaen i will be satisified with what you think is best.

Here is the post that got timed out:>>>

>>>"Patio is one of the best when it comes to staying with you to find a resolution.

i did not see him as if you tried booting in Safe Mode and if you have does it present the same warnings?

Once again i will admit that i know far less that most of my CH brothers and sisters but i will now take an oart to take the time to attesmpt hel with questions that i know something about and it may be something that can/will help you.

i realize for twenty ten that i must contirbute as what i do know and offer it wit the caviat: There can easier be someone in our group who as a much BETTER answer and can get right to the point. But know this: i will read your question(s) and give you the best answer that i have at the moment that i reply.

i have also been asked for my bios password. When first given a chance to create one i do so and keep it in a safe place.

As this question in a way is like the one that i just answered, i would suggest a program on the computer that store this data so if you have no other access you can get to it quickly.

The answer that i gave here now is one that will work if you started out in the way that the PC wanted you to do so. Of course that in and of itself is a good question and comment on it;s own....if i can contribute more info on your subject i will do so.

Good luck and happy new year!I'm sorry - I don't understand this post at all. What is the question?err... if you still have the post that timed out... why not place it in the thread you intended to post it Sometimes less is more...and better too!
