Answer» I have a batch file that copies a file from one directory to ANOTHER DAILY, controlled by Windows scheduler. My question is, do I need to check whether or not the file is open before copying? If so, how can I do that in my batch file? THANKS!You should be able to COPY a file even if it's open. Of course if it's open but not SAVED yet then it will not copy the unsaved information.
