Answer» I have a toshiba satellite p75-a7200. A few months back it would not power up. I didnt have time to mess with it then. So I did the reset tricks. Took out the battery, held down on the power button for a minute, removed the cmos battery. Its dead as a doornail. I checked the charger and it is putting out over 19v. Where should I go from here?I pulled it APART and I dont SEE anything that could cause the PROBLEM besides the mother board. I wouldnt MIND changing it but they seem quite expensive.Did you replace the CMOS battery ? ?...won't run without it. I will try that but it shows 2.9 volts.After doing that i would try powering it up with the laptop battery removed...if it don't run on A/C then it may well be the MBoard...
