Solve : Toshiba Laptop continually "dies" for no reason?

Answer»

I'm not sure if this is a hardware or OS problem, seems more likely to be hardware.

Anyways, my laptop will just blink off every so often. It does not shut down, the screen simply goes blank. Any AUDIO playing begins acting like a skipping record for a few seconds, then goes SILENT. All indicator light (power, battery, plug, etc) continue to act normally.

This laptop is about a year and a half old. There seems to be no corrrelation as to when it cuts out. Playing a game, surfing the net, watching a movie, it's random. This has been going on for approximately a month or so, and becoming more frequent. I am nearing the memory limit, but that shouldn't affect this, should it?
