Solve : Toshiba overclock?

Answer»

Hello, I've been trying to overclock my toshiba for quite a bit now but im not really suceeding.
I know the potential risks of overclocking a laptop (over heating, permanent HARDWARE damage..) but I only to set the fsb up to 2 % more at max.

thx,

Just don't try, you'll get nowhere.
Laptop overclocking is never a GOOD idea.
What are you using to overclock anyway?I just want to get a little more juice out of my cpu,
I have tried multiple software to try to overclock it but they don't seem to support my mainboard and the bios doesn't support overclocking.
I've increased the airflow inside of the laptop and have added an extra fan from my old latitude to enable better COOLING.

You already have a powerful CPU for a laptop, I wouldn't think overclocking it would help much.
My advice is to give up, laptops are not designed for this and you'd get little to no benefit anyway.alright, ty Quote from: Slippy on September 12, 2008, 04:51:43 AM

Curious - is this an external fan? What did you do?
