Solve : Touchpad not working...?

Answer»

The Touchpad SHOWS up, and no exclamation marks.I'm not sure but some laptops have a feature (a button) that DISABLES the touch pad. Do you think this may be the case here?Quote from: fanh on July 19, 2008, 10:49:26 AM

I'm out of ideas other than, as previously SUGGESTED, pursue with OEM.

Best of luck!Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on July 19, 2008, 10:58:12 AM

Ya, mine has that feature. I turn it off when I'm playing games and using a mouse (in case I hit off it and shoot SOMEONE!). I have an "FN" button beside the Windows Start button, and when I press it, a menu comes down at the top of the screen. Here I can disable and enable the touchpad. Its a Toshiba Satellite.Quote

No, I don't think so, SINCE sometimes the Touchpad works and sometimes it doesn't, and I didn't press any button at all...Is the laptop under warranty?

Suggest that you get help from Lenovo and RMA laptop, if possible,
