Solve : Transfering Files from Old Hard Drive to New? |

Answer» So my original problem was that my computer crashed, I was GETTING an error message, and I could boot completely. I took the LAPTOP to our tech guys and they said - get a laptop hard drive ENCLOSURE, a new hard drive and copy the files over. So now at least I have a computer that is working...... but for some reason the one file from the old hard drive that I have tried to access - the file (Paul's Computer - which had all my documents and music) is inaccessible - I can't open it.... this is probably a software issue i.e. I must be logged into my account to access these files, but there has to be some way to get to them???/Please see responses to your other topic. Only one post is needed per problem. Thanks. |
