Answer» I would like to know how I can insert the tray back to the CD-ROM DRIVE. And it appears to be still perfect with no damages. When I try to insert it, there is great resistance that I can't continue to push it. HOWEVER I can still pull it out again. It seems to be related with how a CD-ROM drive is made and related with the mechanism of the drive Can anyone HELP? Thanks very much.
my COMPUTER model can be seen here: http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/me/en/sm/WF06a/1768489-1768765-1768765-1768765-12236928-12236954.html
and the drive should be 16X DVD+/-RW Driveit just became seperated must have some powerful ejection force in there
i've had this problem numerous times... mainly after having PULLED it out.. with the resistance you're feeling is the tray bending? if it starts to bend you don't really want to push any harder, but have you tried puushing it in and pressing the eject button? the gears are what stops it going in place, and if the gears are in a position where the trasy can't be inserted, the only thing to do is move them until they fit with the grooves on the side of the tray Thanks very much the problem has been solved anytime How ? ?
