Answer» I am not very computer LITERATE so I don't really know what info I should be PROVIDING but heres the problem. I have a cd rom from a school book (I TAKE classes on the computer) when I try to install it everything runs and it seems it is working until the end when I get a message that says "data CORRUPTION encountered" Is this a problem with the cd? or my computer? Any help would be appreciated as I am supposed to be doing homework from the cd.Do other CDs work ok in the drive? It very well could be the CD, but you would have to run the test to find out. FlameI just installed a different cd with no problems.Sounds like the CD just has a peoblem then. If you need to have it, go see if you can obtain another CD.
