Hello, I have a older PC with XP home installed on a 20 gig hard drive. I have a second 20 gig hard drive installed and formated.

Do I have to do anything special to make it work with two hard drives? Will it work LIKE a single 40 gig hard drive?

You cam move the ENTIRE My Documents folder into a folder on the new drive.

I have a 80 conductor cable and the drives set as master and slave, both on the PRIMARY IDE, would it make any difference if I set the drives to cable select? I mean would the PC run any better on cable select?

I have never seen any difference.
But the 80 wire cable is recommended.
I use it, but I do not use the cable select option.Thanks for the info, I moved My Documents to the other drive.
