Answer» I'm currently building a computer but I have two problems with both my hard drives.
My first is that for some reason Windows XP won't install on my brand new 320gb SATA hard DRIVE. The hard drive is a Western Digital Caviar. When I try to partion it USING the Windows XP disk it says "This disk does not contain a Windows XP compatible partion".
My second problem is that my 164gb Hitachi hard drive, IDE, only shows up as 30gb.
If anyone can HELP me I'd be grateful, thanks alot, Liam.

Make sure if your drive is properly detected in the BIOS...Your drive's exact model and exact capacity should be detected..........
