Solve : Underground?

Answer»

Anyone here read the book Underground? No, who wrote it?Suelette Dreyfus. It's an awesome book about the crackdown on Australian, US, British, Canadian, and other country's hackers. It's a really good book, but on my palm pilot it's about 2000 pages.I have seen a video, which I believe was titled: "Underground" about what you have just described.

(Yes, I know... younger generations never read anymore)

Most of the documentation on any "Crackdown" on anything is usually published as a preventive sort of thing, in truth, there is NO STOPPING what they call "Cyber Terrorism". Much as there is no stopping anything else they claim to "Crackdown" on, its all designed to instill fear as a preventive action. Nothing more, 'else it wouldn't be published, the truth never makes it to paper on a mass scale. Anyway, probably a decent book/video, but its like I said, most of that crap is manipulated to keep people scared to do anything other than buy more crap to make themselves feel safe thinking governments are "Cracking down" on terrorism, or "Cracking down" on gang violence, or what have you.Lets demonstrate how the government watches the internet:

Black web computer, here we come

TERRORIST! SPACE NEEDLE! BOMB!

Being as this went out on my connection, the Communications monitoring network in Southern Washington will pick up on it... and the topic will be viewed by the government.
Thanks Zylstra, you've not only inadvertently Rick Rolled me past the point of insanity, but now you've likely brought NSA agents posing as idiotic twelve year old's here to snoop on us. Were all dh00m3d! Quote from: Dead_Reckon on September 11, 2008, 09:55:29 PM

It is DEPRESSING...

Whenever I get to the library (closed FRIDAY, Saturday, and Sunday, and closes early Wednesday...) I am getting a book called: "Two Kinds of Decay"
I also NEED to return my Andrew Lloyd Webber music book...

Theres something I can do that most teens cant! Read music!
Yeah, what with guitar tabs, piano tabs, and the like, kids don't feel they need to read music.  I used to be able to read music, I'm trying to learn again. Quote from: typhoeus on September 12, 2008, 05:33:21 PM

Piano tabs? You mean Piano Chords?
No. I am not so great at reading the chords... getting better at that though.
