Answer» I would like to know whether I should upgrade my old Patriot Celeron 466 bought back in 1999 with a view to selling it. I have read the chapter on how to upgrade it (although i would get someone else to do this) OR should I flog it as it is? If so does anyone know roughly how much it should go for with or without upgrade?Depends entirely on what you are going to use it for. The school I WORK at has got computers that are far advanced. AND the local charity shop doesn't accept electrical items due to health and safety. so the idea was to sell it at a carboot and use WHATEVER I get towards school. thanks anyway.Maybe $35 or so on eBay. Go ahead and put it up for sale. You have nothing to LOSE except the posting fee. The specs are not outstanding, but would make a good usable system for someone. I would not spend any money on upgrading it. It has all the value it has right now.Nice advice dl65.
