Solve : Upgrade video card?

Answer»

I recently bought a HP (Hewlett-Packard) Pavilion Media Center TV M8200n Desktop
(3GHz Athlon 64 X2 6000+, 3GB DDR2, 500GB, DVD±RW DL, Windows Vista Home Premium - MPN: GN551AA)

It comes with an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE. I want to change this to a new dedicated video card. There is a PCI-Express x16 Expansion slot, so my QUESTION is this. Is it as simple as uninstalling the integrated GPU's drivers, then installing a new video card like normal, including a new power supply if NEEDED (most likely) or, because it has an integrated card in it, will it be more complicated? Is there something I should know?

This computer is for my WIFE, who loves gaming so any help would be greatly appreciated.Yep that's all it would require.
On first boot Windows will use generic drivers until you install the new ones.
Travel Here to calculate what's needed in the power department.
Do her and yourself a favor...don't buy a 20 dollar cheapo.

Have Fun.Nice site, patio What video card are you planning on buying?
