If not, visit the manufacturer's website and search for documentation, perhaps a downloadable user's manual. Exactly what MAKE and model computer do you have? Most computers with onboard graphics will support an add-on video card of one type or another (PCI Express, AGP, or PCI). With some systems, installing an add-on video card will automatically disable the onboard video. With other systems, you need to access your BIOS settings and disable onboard video.
