Answer» Everyone rips my poor ole nVidia Gforce 7300 GS Staples 99.00 ok, I am no gamer but i bought the *censored* thing cause the box said <<< ha ha that my video watching and basically the quality of my visuals would be a lot better than the installed ATI 200 chip. This CRAPPY card has 256 megs of ram and it DOES have a fan on it*. If I knew how to show u with my scanner I would try to post small pic but I am not literate on it yet. Honestly, I think my quality has improved with that card "somewhat" but it does get a little hot when my gforce media or movies are playing ? I have been able to get nice quality playing my oblivion game set on above average settings but take that from someone still in the sewers! I had no idea this Celeron D 346 was dual core ? Are you sure of that ? I have been monitoring temps and highest I have SEEN is almost 50c.... I will stay with that CPU if need be. I just thought i might upgrade myself and save the old one^ to include on a puter for my daughter next spring I might try to build?Quote Everyone rips my poor ole nVidia Gforce 7300 GS Staples 99.00 ok, I am no gamer but i bought the *censored* thing cause the box said <<< ha ha that my video watching and basically the quality of my visuals would be a lot better than the installed ATI 200 chip. Yes, it is better then having NO card, but u could have gotten a MUCH MUCH better card for only a little more money. 256Mb means NOTHING if u have a bad card.

ummm "not in my case, celeron D STANDS FOR CELERON D

Celeron is a budget CPU line, wich performs very poorly and is only made for very simple usage of the computer, so it having 2 cores would be absord since dual-cores are used for intense gaming and achieve very high performance. So having a Celeron, wich is SUPPOSED to perform badly with 2 cores wich are designed to perform very well is silly.
Now the reason i thought it was, was because of Intel's PENTIUM D CPUs wich actually arent dual-core either but 2 entire procesors stuck together, using the same pins, but sitll thought of as dual-cores. The only "real" dual core CPUs are the Core Duo, Core 2 Duo and AMD Athlon 64 X2 CPUs.
