Answer» After endless pop-ups telling me that "this device can perform faster", I have decided to upgrade to USB 2.0, HOWEVER there are a few questions this noob needs to ask. Is it more involved than just swapping out the old one. Also, I've looked at cards with several ports and ones with just a COUPLE, for about the same price. Any reason for this? Is not more better? Do you have a favorite? This will not change your EXISTING USB ports...only the ones on the PCI card will be 2.0Agreed. I've used a four-port USB card in a PCI SLOT on a desktop computer with no problems. This will be a good upgrade for the computer, at a relatively low cost.especially if you dont have that many.
