Answer» Hi There,
I am about to SET my first consultancy BUSINESS office. I need badly some input about what hardware should I buy to set my IT system: I have thought about the following.
1) LCD Monitor (20") with speaker 2) All in one (Printer, Scanner, Fax, Copier) 3) Keyboard and mousse (Wireless) 4) Desktop (140 GB) 5) DVD-RW 6) Web Cam/Microphone
Did I missed anything? I still have to load it with software !! What should I buy to have a professional good package? Apart from microsoft office and Adobe I am a bit lost. What do I really need ?
Thanks to all It all depends what you will be doing in your business, no-one can tell you what you need unless state exactly what you will be doingUrgent help, but no show for next 8 hours....STRANGE...Go to HP.com and look for a machine. You obviously don't KNOW anyone who can build a machine.
If you want a machine built, then get a AM2 socket CPU AMD, motherboard with onboard video, LAN card and sound, Abit has a nice motherboard. 2G on the CPU is just find. Get a GeForce 5200 or above. Get a SATA Drive (new standard) Monitors are hard, you need to go to a computer store and review some LCD monitors, what can you look at without hurting your eyes. You should be paying around $300 for a 20" LCD. You should go with a 500 watt power supply.
Oh forget Dell please.personally, i would buy a set of speakers. i could not see internal monitor speakers having very high quality audio.
