Solve : USB Flash memory Problem?

Answer»

I have a kingstone 256MB USB Flash Memory , it was running NORMALLY without problems.

Today I tried to use it , I got the following Error Message "Please insert a disk into drive I:"

I can't open or format it.

is this error message means that it will not work again and I must get a new one.

Please help me.Try it on another PC and see if it still doesn't work. The computer you are TRYING to open it up on is it running windows xp?

If so try this
goto control PANEL and adminstrator tools. select computer management and the select disk management
you can reassign the drive letter to the usb flash drive.
and then see if you can open it then
The problem was solved.

I used the disk management, I found that the flash memory is recognized as unallocated.

so I made a new primary PARTITION and format it with FAT32.

and simply it is WORKING NOW.
