I am running win xp rpo and my USB Ports don't see anything pluged into them any more.

They ware working and then one day I pluged a Digital Camara into it and it did not see it. Then I tryed my USB Hard drive and nothing.

And like I said they ware working is it something in my MSCONFIG startup list I have to put a Check mark in??I did findout all of my USB Ports front and back don't work. USB Controlers are LISTED in Device Menager should I uninstall them and re boot I don't like that.

What can be doing this?A damaged USB Controller could be doing this...or XP is playing games. Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers seems a good place to start

1. OPERATING System. What operating system and service pack level are you using? For example, Windows XP PROFESSIONAL SP2.

2. USB Root Hubs. Are there any USB Root Hub(s) listed in Device MANAGER?

3. Error Message.
