Solve : USB Pendrive KINGSTON problem? |
|
Answer» Hello, System starting copy( but very very slow...). Normaly on another PC is possible and is fast but on this PC is not possible. If what you are copying contains a lot of files, it will undoubtedly be slow. For example, a 10mb file will copy faster than 10mb worth of a hundred files. Also, can you try copying the files one by one?YEP i copy one by one like on screen one 100mb .exe. First time i think that it coud be drivers for KINGSTON from windows but on another machine working good so drives and drivers are good so I start think that it coud be problem with my new motherboard but another firm usb pendrive works so...I re-read your first post and got this. So only Kingston drives don't work? Other USB Drives work?yes only KINGSTON and ONLY ont that machineThat is very strange.... I did a search online but nothing of relevance came up. Has this always happened?99%... sometime i can cp from drive -> hddDo the tedious copying to get all your data and then Format the Kingston and see if it performs better after this... WORKED for me on a sluggish thumb drive. Actually it's the one that survived a full washer and dryer cycle in my jeans pocket but i don't suggest this METHOD...Quote from: patio on October 02, 2008, 03:15:53 PM
