Answer» Hi.
I have a total of eight USB ports. Two are located at the chassi, another two are located on an USB 2.0 Extension card and four are on my motherboard.
The chassi and USB 2.0 ports have stopped working for some reason. The things I connect to those ports simply doesn't react at all. I tried to reinstall my USB drivers but it didn't work. I have no idea what can have caused this issue, please help.

Thanks!TEMPORARILY remove the addin card and it's drivers etc. Reboot, open Device Manager and delete all onboard USB ports. Reboot and Windows should now reinstall these ports. Remove all USB DEVICES before attempting this!
How many USB devices are connected and what are they?Whoa, that actually fixed it! Thanks alot pal!Quote Whoa, that actually fixed it! Thanks alot pal! You sound SURPRISED that something suggested here worked.
