Answer» Do physical USB ports care what version of USB is plugged into them? The case and its USB ports are PRE USB 2, but if I plug them into a USB 2 CONTROLLER will they communicate USB 2?The speed of the USB cable is regulated by the USB controller. The case and its USB ports are pre USB 2, but if I plug them into a USB 2 controller will they communicate USB 2? I BELIEVE they should.
