You can BUY a swtich though that will switch it between your computers. Sometimes rubbing magnets all over your hard drive will make it work though, try that

I SUPPOSE you could downconvert a USB2.0 signal using a complex array of latches and SIPOs, but that's for the hardware designers to do. Like deep said though, you can buy a switch, or if you can attach it to a network that would work.
